    Writing Response 1:
Review Beyond Traffic slides 12-16 from lecture 1 describing evolving trends that will impact transportation in the future. Pick one of these five areas and write an essay that summarizes these projected trends and gives yourperspective on how today's transportation systems may evolve in response to these trends (about 1000 words due: 26 Apr 2018).

As discussed in class on Thursday, the last assignment is 1000 words on "a day in your life" 20 years into the future. Choose a few hours, or the whole day, and describe the transportation and other technologies that will be (a) out-dated, (b) part of daily life, or (c) just emerging as a potential disruptive innovation, and how you interact with them. Submit via email (pdf or doc) no later than Monday, June 18th.
