CEE 228A SOFTWARE, MANUALS, & DATA ARCHIVE

Excel includes an excellent Solver (included but must be installed) that can be used to solve a wide range of mathematical programs (further information is available on the CEE111 Web Site. CPLEX is available on some ITS and CEE (ECT123) computers.

The student version of LINDO is available for a free trial download. Other freely available software for applications in this course is likely available: search the web and let the class know.

Some "vintage" software is also available (will not work on 64 bit machines):

The zipped BURPP! file contains several BURPP! executables modules, test data, and some help files (e-mail me any questions). Note that the CEE Computer Lab in ECT123 can be utilized by civil engineering grad students (and students enrolled in this class) whenever a class/lab is not scheduled.
