Potential topics for this year’s UCI ITE Student Chapter annual project include:
- Expand analysis on the 2009-2010 project, "Effects of Transit Price Changes on
Student Travel Mode Choice"
- Expand analysis on the 2008-2009 project, "Effects of Gas Price Increases on
Highway Vehicle Miles Traveled", which considered the relationship between gas
prices and freeway vehicle miles traveled (VMT)
- Western ITE Trip Generation, Parking Demand, or Queueing Field Study
[ RFP ]
- A Before/After Study of the UCI Traffic Signal Control System
- Can electric (hybrid) bicycles/scooters make UCI a greener campus?
Possible topics include: a survey of current commuting modes of students
and staff; potential environmental benefits of using e-bikes; possibility
of e-bikes as the last mile of longer commutes. See
